This is where I post my general rambling and stuff that would otherwise be IMed to you over AIM, therefore annoying the hell out of you. This way, it's better for all of us. I don't have to repeat it, you don't have to read it, although if I'm bored enough, I'll probably still IM you....

Uh Oh...First Summer Session's almost over June 27 2007
09:41:26 PM

So I was sitting here thinking about when I was gonna hang out with various people that I've been telling myself I'd hang out with over the summer, and I realized that the Austin part of my summer is nearly over. I'm only gonna be in Austin until Tuesday, and most (pretty much 100% of my time after tomorrow afternoon) of my time will be spent with some combination of like 5 people, none of which are the aforementioned people I wanted to hang out with.

Also, I guess I should start working on my French homework that I've been putting off for quite some time. That's probably gonna take forever to do now that I've let it build up.

As crappy as the first half of my summer was, the second half is gonna be even worse. I'm expecting the worst: me going to work from 8-5, Monday - Friday, sitting at home doing nothing the rest of my time. I guess the Gebster may visit me, and the Bullet will be finished at some point, and I guess TJ will probably visit, or I may go visit him. Whatever. It's still gonna suck. Can't wait to come back to Austin with some of my other friends here, as well.

Fixed! June 26 2007
08:51:07 PM

I finally fixed this thing! Now I can post blog entries to this page as well as LiveJournal. I doubt I'll use Xanga anymore, since apparently nobody does. Not that I update any of these frequently enough that it matters to begin with.

Anyways, I'm gonna try to start updating more frequently, but I'm not sure it'll happen.

The timestamp seems to be working, too! Sweet!

Step 1: Put your MP3 player or whatever on random. ( or any random thing )
Step 2: Post the first line from the first 30 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Post and let everyone you know guess what song and artist the lines come from.

Random Thoughts March 21 2006
01:17:16 AM

It seems like a lot of people have been dying lately. I guess it's not really a lot of people, but rather a couple people that weren't really close to me, but kind of. My friend's friend's brother died just the other day, and just before Spring Break, a guy that graduated with me died.

II used to sit with this guy at lunch like every other day in 10th grade, and haven't talked to him since, so I guess I don't really know him at all, but still, it's sad to see someone like that die. Seemed like a nice guy and a smart guy.

I guess one way to look at this is what I've been thinking every night before I go to sleep for the past couple of days....I should be more of a risk taker. Writing this won't change my actions, and I'll probably be writing this same thing again later, though. When I see what I want, I should go for it, instead of trying to wait for it to come to me. I guess it all comes down to me being insecure in pretty much everything I do....Whatever...as I said before, I'm sure typing this out for all the world to read isn't gonna help me, so I'm not gonna go into detail

Damn... January 08 2006
03:21:11 AM

I missed the obligatory Christmas entry this year, as well as the obligatory New Year's entry...my bad. Anyways, I resurrected another one of my blogs, so now I have 3 ( LiveJournal, Xanga, http://www.houstonthrills.com/blog.php ). Not that there's even a reason for me to have one, since I never update.

Anyways, the AstroWorld auction was this weekend and the rides went up on the block today. None of the coasters seem to have any real buyers, aside from people that wanted to buy it for scrap and didn't even meet the reserve price. I hope someone comes in and buys Greezed Lightnin at least.

I'll be going back to Austin in a few days, which reminds me....I missed the obligatory "NATIONAL CHAMPIONS!!!!" post, too. Wow, I realy have been slacking off....

Till next time....

The Blog is up again! January 07 2006
11:25:35 PM

I made a blog script a little over a year ago, and now I put it back up. The entries are really old, and they will probably be the same as my LiveJournal and Xanga entries, so if you check those, there's no point in checking this. You can't have a personal site without a blog, though, and that's what this is here for. It's the obligatory personal page blog. On a side note, I think I can still recite all of Showboat's Comin....that's sad.

Exciting Adventures of Byron. April 21 2005
07:52:31 PM

I was gonna post a depressed rant here...but I figured someone would worry about being suicidal or some stupid shit like that.

In other news, my roommate has been bringing people over to play PS2 for the past couple of days and I'm pretty sure one of them is a drug dealer or something. Fun. Only a few more weeks until school's out and I can get away from this guy. In a few months, I'll be on my way to Europe and hopefully there will be people with me. Can't seem to find out any more information about this trip.

Just felt it was time for an update and couldn't think of anything interesting to talk about. If only I had an interesting life...or even a life at all.

Ich kann der Deutscher telefonieren April 14 2005
11:05:54 PM

So yesterday, I called the German on his cell phone. And then sent hem text messages. He told me he got a cell phone so I was like, "I wonder if I can send it text messages" so I tried. After none of them went through, I tried calling and figured out I was dialing too many numbers. When I did call the right number, the phone started beeping because of the crazy European phone lines that beep instead of ringing. After he answered and confirmed that was his number, I tried sending him text messages, which worked.

Sadly, this will probably be the highlight of my week. I need a life.

Come and watch them shufflin along.... April 04 2005
01:16:08 AM

Defying all logic going through my brain, I decided to see Showboat's Comin' a 3rd time today (2 yesterday, 1 today), and now I believe I have about half of the songs from that show stuck in my head...at the same time. I need to stop going to SFOT so much. I finally went on Flashback, and it didn't suck as much as I anticipated, which is good.

I have a feeling 2005 isn't going to be as great as I had planned. My grades seem to be falling, which will lead to me not getting the thing I had hoped for, and I seem to be spending money, which needs to be saved for my trip to Europe. I'm ruining my year and it's only April. Damn, I need to do something about these problems. I think more time spent at SFOT may solve it. Yeah, that sounds good....more Showboat's Comin' and rides for me.
