Greezed Lightnin opened in 1978 as one of the 2 first flywheel launched Schwarzkopf shuttle loops in the world. The ride is launched from 0 to 60 mph in about 4 seconds before going through a loop and up a 137 ft tall spike. The ride then falls backwards down the spike, back through the loop and flies through the station before going up another spike backwards. the ride then falls back down the spike and returns to the station.
